Came in for a tattoo wanting red butterflies. Smooth did my tattoo. As my tattoo was healing its starts peeling and the color started to change. My tattoo is now hot pink, which he had told me colors stays on people’s skin differently. It peels it’s gets lighter, which I completely understand. But you can also tell that he missed spots in shading and he didn’t put enough ink to the point that most lines are really faded.
Smooth responded with “ it was done properly, you got some nerves” “fuck out of here” “I don’t know what to tell you” instead finding out a solution to fix it. He felt disrespected when I communicated what was wrong with the tattoo.
I’ll usually let it go BUT I paid $550 for a tattoo that’s PERMANENTLY on my skin and wasn’t done properly!!! Smooth told me I didn’t take care of my tattoo the right way. I bought ALL the lotions that he recommended and it just made my tattoo worse. I do have multiple tattoos on my body (using a different healing product) and none of them came out bad at all.
I had to leave a review cause Smooth gave me the impression that he got paid and that’s all that matters. He was very unprofessional, even if he felt disrespected through a text message, I was his customer. I was polite and did not curse him out, just pointed out things that did not come out right. Stay away from this place they will tax you and if it is messed up they will give you the boot out the door and blame it on you, instead of working with you. They will just take your money. Also left him a $50 tip on top of the $550 for the tattoo"

"I came here around 10:30 tattoo artist Shaq was very unprofessional drinking beers and rolling up.. could barely keep his eyes open! Quoted me a price expected from a top tier shop. They have to clean up and get their act together if they want to charge what upscale shops charge! This is definitely a hood / ghetto shop. They could be the best tattoo artist in the world but no one would ever know. First impression is definitely the last."
