- "I live at a senior park in Davenport and we have a garage sale every year and I donate nice stuff to your Hope store right down the street. I always take at least 3 car loads of stuff and this year I called asking for a pick up. On Sunday I met two young men who came in a big truck. They walked around my big pile and did see a mattress that had a small tear on the side I missed seeing from the person who donated it. I agreed for them not to take it. They walked around the boxed and bagged pile and said they would not take it. I had working heaters, blankets, dishes, slow cooker,mixer,chair in great shape, black leather chair with know holes worn out, clothes boxed and folded with out stain. On the outer ege i had vacumes and they grabbed two and left. Need to get better pick up men. I choose a better charity who apprieates it. Bernice Di Lillo"
